Copper Wire Recycling Machine
A copper wire granulator is an environmentally friendly device used for processing and recycling waste wires and cables. Copper wire recycling machines are widely used for crushing and recycling various electrical wires and cables, household appliance wires, communication lines, computer lines, and other waste wires. Wires of different sizes can be processed simultaneously without sorting, thus achieving dry separation and recycling of various metals and plastics in waste wires. Do you know how a copper wire recycling machine works and what precautions to take when operating it?

Applications and Advantages of Dry Copper Wire Recycling Equipment
Copper wire granulators can process various waste electrical wire and cable materials. They are suitable for waste and messy wires, various electrical wires and cables, household appliance wires, communication lines, computer lines, and other waste wires that are not suitable for wire stripping machines. Compared with wet copper wire granulators, dry copper wire granulators do not produce water pollution. Waste copper wire recycling machines are equipped with pulse dust collectors to recover dust and exhaust gas, preventing air pollution. The metal-to-plastic separation rate reaches up to 99.9%. The metal powder produced by the copper cable recycling machine can be directly reused as a resource, greatly improving resource recycling efficiency and bringing considerable economic value.

Separating Copper and Plastic Particles
Operating Principle of the Waste Copper Wire Granulator: When a mixture of two crushed materials of different densities moves under the action of wind, the amplitude movement at a certain point on the screen causes the denser copper material to move closer to the screen surface to the outlet, while the less dense plastic material moves towards the outlet. The less dense material floats on top of the copper to the outlet, thus achieving the purpose of copper-plastic separation.
The separation rate of the copper cable recycling machine is directly proportional to the diameter of a single copper wire. The larger the diameter of a single copper wire, the higher the separation rate of copper and plastic.

Copper Wire Recycling Plant
1. After the copper granulator is installed and debugged, the equipment needs to be airlifted for 2-3 minutes. Once everything is normal, it can be put into operation.
2. The waste wire is fed into the crusher feed inlet for crushing, preparing for the next step of sorting. 3. After being crushed, the raw material falls into the conveyor from the lower outlet.

4. The conveyor carries the raw material into the vibrating screen. The vibrating screen begins to classify the raw material; the upper layer of the screen contains plastic granules.
The upper layer of the second screen contains a small amount of plastic granules and a small amount of unscreened copper wire; the lower layer of the second screen contains the finished product granules.
5. The plastic granules on the upper layer of the first screen are eventually returned to the main machine. The raw material on the upper layer of the second screen enters the secondary crusher for secondary crushing. The crushed raw material is then sent to the electrostatic pulverizer. The separator separates the copper from the plastic through the main machine.

6. The electrostatic separator completely separates the copper from the plastic. A dust suction port is located above the vibrating screen, which draws impurities and dust from the raw material into the unloader via a fan, and then sends it to the pulse dust collector for dust removal.
Copper Wire Granulator Operation Precautions
1. The waste copper wire recycling machine should be installed on a flat surface. Uneven ground will cause the equipment to vibrate.
2. Inspect all parts of the equipment for problems. Open the upper casing of the crusher and manually rotate the crusher cutter shaft to check for smooth rotation and whether it scratches the bottom screen.
3. Connect the power supply to the distribution cabinet and thoroughly check the equipment for loose bolts or other issues.
4. After connecting the power, turn the power switches on and off one by one, observing the wiring direction for any problems.
5. Before the first production run, it is recommended to run the copper wire recycling machine unloaded for half an hour. This allows users to observe whether any problems occur during equipment operation and facilitates adjustments.
